This is a cute drawing, and I have to agree with you; HAL Laboratory should make a sequel to Kirby Air Ride. 

Sure, KAR did not get the critical praise that the developers originally expected, but they should try and give it a shot anyway. If HAL Lab still felt like it wasn't grand enough for the Wii U, then the game could just be released for the 3DS. It would be a good, fun game, regardless of the console it was released on.
